On Capri’s First (Semi) Haircut
As you can see in the picture below, I took some scissors to Capri’s bangs recently. They had been growing at an alarming pace and were way past her eyes. I had told myself I wouldn’t cut my daughters hair for a very long time, but it had to be done.
They say after a baby’s first haircut the texture of their hair begins to change-my hair was wavy when I was an infant but after my first haircut it changed to the ringlettes I had to deal with for many years. (Now I’m clearly a pro at blowdrying my hair straight.) Admittedly, not that I wouldn’t like her curly hair if she had it but, I would prefer to see her with hair from her daddy’s side of the family. My hair for me was a constant struggle and I definately don’t wish that upon Capri at all!!!
