On H1N1 aka The Swine
First let me say that after the outbreak in the US of H1N1 I found myself very unconcerned. At the time, in Canada, there were rare cases but I really didn’t give it too much thought. It turns out Ontario has become some breeding ground for the swine and finally this week I actually gave it the attention it has been recieving everywhere else. As parents rush to get their children vaccinated, I have decided to not get one for Capri. I wouldn’t get it, and I wouldn’t suggest anyone I know get it so there is no way I’m giving it to Capri. Honestly, who REALLY knows what the shit is or what the side effects of it can be? I think I will take my chances. Fortunately Capri isn’t in a daycare, or really interacts much with other childern (something I actually find unfortunate…except for right now of course) so her chances of catching it are quite low. However, I work in an insanely busy mall in a store im convinced has poor circulation as it is always so hot, so im not sure that helps our cause. I’ve been under the weather the past few days and today I think its progressing to just me being plain ol sick. I hope it passes soon as being sick for this weekend, and my coming trip, is totally lame!!
